Shopping is my FAVORITE pastime, and Curtsy Bella is a store I could spend an entire WEEK in. LOVE everything there – the displays are sparkly and beautiful and there are so many fun things to look through. From THE most hilarious cards & books to the sweetest of baby clothes – ooh, don’t forget sexy lingerie! … I love it. (and you will too!)
Best of all, the owners Mary Jo & Danielle are the sweetest ladies you will EVER meet. They help you brainstorm ideas for gifts and the gift wrap is the best part. There aren’t many places that you can go and leave with a gift ready to give.

As a neighborhood resident and avid shopper, I feel compelled to write about Curtsy Bella because it truly is one of my favorite stores in Seattle. Sure – they have amazing jewelery, witty cards, beautiful baby items that you cannot find anywhere else, but to me, what makes this shop special is that as soon as the door opens and you get your first peek inside, you feel like Alice must’ve felt when she woke up down the rabbit hole.
Danielle, the co-owner, has made CB look like Wonderland. Just to be in the shop is inspiring because you’re surrounded by beautiful, glittery things. It’s hard to just “run in” for a shower gift because I usually just end up wandering around, peeking in every corner to see what they’ve hidden around the next shelf. Last time I was there, I discovered that they’re now selling custom birthday crowns – check them out.
It is always fun to support a local business, but the ladies at CB make it easy because they’re genuinely interested in finding things that are unique and special. The store floor is spectacular – check it out and get inspired!

I’m reviewing it because it’s the perfect store to get the perfect gift for any girl in your life. I have picked up gifts for my fiance, my sister’s baby shower, and random friends birthdays. no matter how hard they are to shop for, you’ll find something that goes above and beyond here. there is plenty in here that can put a very large dent in your wallet, but you’d be surprised at what you can get even on a tight budget. as far as what you’re going to find in here, it can’t even be described. you just have to go, and walk very, very slowly. if you’re a guy, i would just suggest going here if you’re after a gift. girls, you’ll be in heaven.
and extra props to them for their amazing gift wrapping. every time i’ve made a purchase they have creatively wrapped it in very stylish ways. i wish i had photos to show how awesome they looked. i just suggest having them wrap your stuff if you’re giving it as a gift!

This is the BEST store to find unusual gifts for the girl who has everything! Because at Curtsy Bella, you will find tons she doesn’t have! The co-owners and staff are fab and so helpful, cute too the free gift wrapping is a wonderful touch too – something rarely found any more. Love Love Love it!

Best. Store. Ever.
The gals that run this place truly know what it means to offer “something for everyone!” Their website could use a little work, but the store itself is divine. If you need a gift for a female, I can’t recommend a better place. You will find something here – young or old, prissy or punk, cheap or expensive… CB totally has you covered. There are also a few gems for the males in your life. Small selection of ties, cuff links, kitschy gifts, etc. And Sailor Jerry paraphernalia as well.
Also, best greeting card selection I’ve ever seen. And with card categories cleverly penned by the CB ladies (ie, “preggers” & “divorce!”) you can’t go wrong. Wittiest cards I’ve ever seen. Just be sure your recipient shares your sense of humor.
Take your time in this store and return often because they are constantly changing things up. Best bet is to get on their mailing list for super secret sales (ok, not secret if you go in the store…), events, and that little reminder that you haven’t visited in a few weeks! Their best kept secret? Gift wrapping is always free and always as amazing as the prezzie inside.
